here they are… my last crazy daisy layouts.
as you may or may not have heard, crazy daisy kits is closing down. :( however, i still have two more layouts to share with you… and believe this is a fitting end to my time on the dt there, because i am quite proud of this work (as i have been of all my work created from march-november 2010!). a nice little send-off, that’s what i’m hoping for!
lucky thankful humbled, 12x12
info + one more layout under the cut!
supply list:
- patterned paper: imaginisce apple cider collection so grateful, kaisercraft up, up & away collection ferris wheel, jillibean soup on kraft collection chit chat, we r memory keepers maple grove collection cypress
- alpha: making memories paper reverie collection sienne cardstock
- butterflies: making memories paper reverie collection sienne cardstock pieces
- rub-ons: imaginisce apple cider collection so blessed words
- stickers: karen foster design jump into fall, crate paper restoration collection border, jenni bowlin studio reader banner
- not in kit: acrylic paint, thread
lucky thankful humbled is all about what i’m grateful for this past year. i decided to create a little woodland scene by piecing various papers and stickers together, starting with the little “hill” made out of the we r memory keepers cypress paper. by the way, those crate paper border stickers? totally versatile as always! definitely a favorite of mine to craft with.
the photo used is one of the “outtakes” i discussed last update (that’s shadow in the background!). i felt the pumpkins worked perfectly for this layout. ;)
little touches completed the page — stitching the butterflies’ bodies and the banner, smearing acrylic paint behind the title to make it stand out, and clustering the karen foster stickers.
coming home, 12x12
supply list:
- patterned paper: kaisercraft secret bird society collection hidden specialty, kaisercraft up, up & away collection moon ride
- stamp: imaginisce snag ‘em stamps apple cider collection leaves
- not in kit: acrylic paint, cotton balls, brown ink
coming home is another simple layout, because i wanted to showcase the beautiful and delicate foil details in the kaisercraft background paper, as well as showing off a photo of my parents i recently had developed. i cut apart the four horizontal frames of the picture (a result of using my beloved lomo supersampler!) and accented them with various hot air balloon cut-outs and stretched cotton balls (pretty little clouds!). no official alpha — just my handwriting. :)
happy friday, everyone, and have a wonderful weekend!
